A Workshop on Cultural Mediation was held at the Regional Training Center in Plandište for officials of the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration engaged in voluntary return counseling (AVRR) and translation services.
On the first day, lecturers from Afghanistan and Pakistan led the workshop, presenting migration trends, territorial, and administrative structures of these countries.
On the second day, experts from India and Iraq conducted the training.
The goal of these workshops, organized by ICMPD, is to enhance understanding of cultural and migration-specific factors to improve voluntary return counseling.
