Training Approach
Our training approach is practice-oriented and focused on equipping learners with the practical skills and knowledge they need for their day-to-day responsibilities. Curricula and modules are developed in line with the EU acquis and international standards, based on comprehensive needs assessments conducted in cooperation with partner institutions across the Western Balkans. This ensures that all training programs are relevant, applicable, and responsive to operational challenges in migration management.
The RMTC offers a comprehensive portfolio of training courses grouped into the following thematic clusters:
Foundation and Introductory Curricula on Migration and Governance
Offers essential knowledge for those new to the field, including core migration concepts, institutional roles, and governance frameworks.Curricula on Protection, Human Rights, and Integration

Accreditation and Recognition
RMTC is currently in the process of obtaining formal licensing for its premises and accreditation for its training programs through the Maltese Further and Higher Education Authority, via Training Institute on Migration Capacity Partnership for the Mediterranean (MCP Med TI) in Malta. Once accredited, RMTC will be able to offer EU-recognized qualifications and academic credits, ensuring wider recognition of its training programs and enhancing participants’ professional development and career mobility across the region and beyond.
