Convention on the Reduction of the Number of Stateless Persons adopted on August 30, 1961 by the plenipotentiary conference representatives who met in 1959 and then met again in 1961 in accordance with Resolution 896 (IX) of the UN General Assembly from December 4, 1954,  entered into force on December 13, 1975 in accordance with Article 18.
