This Code establishes rules whose goal is to ensure that no innocent person is convicted, and that the perpetrator of a criminal offense is sentenced to a criminal sanction under the conditions prescribed by the criminal law, on the basis of a legally and fairly conducted procedure.
This Code establishes the rules on parole, rehabilitation, termination of security measures and legal consequences of conviction, exercising the rights of persons unjustly deprived of their liberty and unjustly convicted, confiscation of property benefits, settlement of property claims and issuance of warrants and announcements.
